At Tshirts Canada we are able to print on different colours of tee shirts however the colour of the t-shirt and the type of printing you have in mind requires that we use different processes to achieve that outcome.

Tshirts Canada – Custom Tshirts & Baseball Shirts – Process 1

This process features full colour printing on white or light colour Tshirts Canada t-shirts
Print text, graphics, images, photographs, team shirts with names and numbers or other personalization.
This custom tshirts printing process allows you to have your images, photos, text and/or graphics printed on white and light colour custom tshirts or baseball shirts with full colour printing (except for the colour white). And since at Tshirts Canada this process is computer based, personalized t-shirts are easy. You can have one-of-a-kind customized t-shirts including names, numbers or text!
Tshirts Canada Custom Tshirts on Light Colour T-shirts
This Tshirts Canada process uses t-shirt transfer paper printed on with a colour laser printer. The image is then bonded to the t-shirt using an automated commercial heat press.
Now, this process is similar to the store bought “iron on” transfers, however the biggest difference is with a commercial heat press, all of the ink is pressed into the shirt instead of just most of the ink.
With a heat press, the pressing time is 15 seconds and all of the ink is transferred to give a great looking print!
All of the materials that we use at Tshirts Canada are commercial grade, which are generally not available to the public through retail outlets since the t-shirt transfers must be applied to the t-shirt using a commercial heat press.
At Tshirts Canada there is no minimum order for Process 1 and Process 2 t-shirts. Order the exact quantity you need. And at Tshirts Canada we can make your custom tshirts in any quantity whether you need just 1 t-shirt printed, a few, a dozen or several dozen. Any amount. If you need 52 then just order 52 in the sizes you need. Please note that Tshirts Canada’s Process 3 printing has a minimum order of 25.
Most people generally order between 12 – 150 from Tshirts Canada.
White t-shirts offer the biggest selection of sizes and absolutely no printing restrictions as far as colour is concerned.
At Tshirts Canada we use Gildan T-shirts “Ultra” 100% cotton (preshrunk).
In white, the available t-shirt sizes for your young child or children are:
- Toddler 2T (2 year old)
- 3T (3 year old)
- 4T (4 year old)
For kids t-shirts in white:
- Youth XS (size 2/4)
- S (size 6/8)
- M (size 10/12)
- L (size 14/16),
- XL (size 18/20)
The sizes for white t-shirts for women:
- Ladies XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL
The standard adult men’s unisex t-shirt sizes in white are:
- Men’s (regular t-shirt) S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL, and 5XL.
Our M&O Knits Unisex Baseball Shirts are available in S, M, L, XL and 2XL. They are available with white bodies with black, red or navy ¾ sleeves.

Your choices for light colours are light pink, light blue, yellow haze, ash grey, ice grey, beige/natural, serene green, sand and Vegas gold however please be aware that these colours are not available with the same style and size choices available in white.
Tshirts Canada – Custom Tshirts – Process 2

This Tshirts Canada printing process features different methods printing for printing on dark t-shirts
Tshirts Canada uses this custom tshirts process when printing some images on dark tee shirts or where white is crucial in your custom tshirts. There are also a couple of new process that we now use at Tshirts Canada to print white text and/or images on dark custom shirts and also print coloured text or images on dark t-shirts. Again at Tshirts Canada there is no minimum order for this Process (Process 2) and you can still have personalized t-shirts.

Let’s say that you have a CD cover or a photo or that you want to put the Canadian flag on a dark t-shirt, this process is ideal.
This is a special transfer paper that is coated with white ink. When the image is printed with a colour laser printer, the image looks the same as if it was printed on white paper. However this transfer paper is opaque so when it is pressed onto the t-shirt it looks colour correct.
Printing a CD cover or photograph would look the same as the original on the dark shirt. The Canadian flag would actually be red and white.
This process works on any colour t-shirt including light colours where having white is crucial.
However, and this is key, the image must be trimable. As I said, these images are printed on a special “print to dark” t-shirt transfer paper. The paper is the standard 8 1/2″ x 11″. So this means that any areas around the image that are not intended to be printed on your custom tshirts would have to be cut away.
The yellow shirt (below) had the excess paper trimmed away before it was printed.
So for example, if the actual size of the Canadian flag was 10″ wide x 6″ high, the excess paper would be cut away and discarded.
There have been a couple of new tee shirt transfer papers introduced within the last year that have enabled us at Tshirts Canada to print text and images on dark shirts with white ink. As you can see in the middle photo with “Sharks” the image and the text are both printed. This paper works quite well but only for some images and the white is not a bright white, it’s actually a very light shade of grey. But it works! Previously at Tshirts Canada we weren’t able to offer this however now we can print just one or a couple of custom tshirts for you.
The same now goes for this next printing request. The t-shirt on the right was printed at Tshirts Canada with coloured text and graphics however to work on these custom tshirts, all of the colours on the shirts must be strong colours. Pastels don’t work. If you require larger quantities of custom tshirts from Tshirts Canada, with only one or two colours (you can have up to six colours), then Process 3 screen printing may be the best solution for your customized t-shirts. For this printing method at Tshirts Canada there is a minimum order of 25 shirts.
In this process you have the choice of ink colour and can have from 1 – 6 different colours. There is a setup charge for each colour and your custom tshirts printed with just one colour are going to be less money than t-shirts with 2 colours, etc. Please remember, the more colours you have in your image the more expensive the printing.
There are so many variables in screen printing that it would be too difficult to publish a price list. To get a price quote please send us an email outlining exactly what you want printed along with the image. We are unable to quote screen printing prices without seeing your image.
Now for screen printing the number of tee shirts you want and the number of colours in your design will significantly impact the price of each t-shirt.
The more t-shirts you want the less the price per t-shirt, however the more colours you want will increase the price per t-shirt.

We apply your transfer to the t-shirt using an automated commercial heat press.
