As we are all becoming more aware of organic foods and farming practices, here at tshirtscanada.com we are getting more inquiries about printing on organic t-shirts. For any product to have an organic label, it must receive at least one of a number of recognized certifications.
There are a number of national and international standards to adhere to to receive these seals. For organic cotton clothing it must be produced without the use of any synthetic chemicals in growing and in the processing of the raw fibres right through to the finished product. Incidentally, organic cotton represents less than 1% of the total world-wide cotton production.
Some of the Benefits of Organic Cotton Are:

- 100% certified organic

Organic cotton is grown without the use of toxic and persistent pesticides and synthetic fertilizers.
